Botanist (part-time internship)
No experience necessary.
Areas of education/interest: Plant taxonomy, plant collecting, plant pressing, plant identification, database entry and management of voucher specimen and field observations of native and naturalized plants of Ventura County and California.   GIS experience a plus.   Internship is primarily to assist with research and writing for publication of the Flora of Ventura County, California.
Preferred Education: B.A./B.S. in Botany or related field.   Minimum Education: A.S. degree or botany course work at the college level, and high degree of motivation.   Knowledge of MS Word and Excel software a must.

Positions are located in Ojai, California.
Unpaid internship.   Expenses paid.   Training provided.
